I strongly disagree with the fact that it's possible in the game. As for this little tiff about undead being kicked, I can see the reasons why it was done and I respectfully recommend that you accept CC's apology, he has explained the situation and to some extent I agree, sometimes one person can ruin a game and lead to an empty room, I'm sure he didn't want that to happen. Better that everyone gets along. I've seen an increase in the number of lag switchers online too, plain as day, and as soon as I see that in a game I either kick the person or just leave if its a room i'm just playing in, and alot of other people out there have the same intentions in mind. Owning the match with a multiplied score can sometimes lead to suspicion, followed by an inevitable decline in player numbers. Sorry I'm rambling, long hard day at work lol.

It was crazy, because I was always coming up on my enemy then I'd attack him and be shot from a totally different angle, by him. I've never seen any lag like that. There should be some way that the games are hosted that makes users of the lag switch only effect themselves and when they stop using it they are the ones who froze during the match. And of course they're most likely dead at this point. There's got to be a way that the servers could do that. ![]()

You can always tell the difference between a switch and a poor connection because the lag switch user will always use it when in trouble. If a player just randomly lags, its probably because they are downloading music or streaming video...something like that. Either should be banned because it affects everyone in the match. Servers will negotiate to the lowest connection speed in a match...if someone joins your game from the other side of the world you notice it immediately. All online console games should offer a region lock and display ping times, but few do. That said, there are ways to exploit the hit detection system in any FPS. Things like the bunny hop and crouch walk will ruin hit detection and prolong the players life. Combine this with the poor matchmaking (ping times) and you will get people who don't seem to die no matter how much you shoot them. I think thats what I notice most in FC2, and its made me rage quit more times than I can recall. Eventually, the exploits will ruin every online game for most players. The bunny hop and dolphin dive ruined BF2 online back in my PC gamer days. Resistance FOM was a great game but eventually got taken over by the bunny hoppers too. Likewise for COD and BFBC. Enjoy a good match when you get it and try to have fun, but don't get too upset by someone who seems unstoppable. Often times its more than just gun skills at work. And as for whatever happened with Rreuh and Undead, it appears that whatever needed to be said has been...I don't expect to see anymore discussion about it on the forums. Thanks

High rankers grouping together, quitting if their team is losing, banning good players. I guess if they work the system they can achieve a high rank by essentially being cowards. Death before dishonor, man. Really, how fun can that possibly be? Shooting fish in a barrel or catching the granddaddy of the lake with just your skill. Without a real challenge I tend to get bored, don't know about everyone else. So I've created my own system of playing those rigged matches. I stay on the team I end up on. If I end up on a high rank team (rare) I'll pull my weight, but I'm watching & learning. If I end up on the nubie team, I treat it like boot camp. I'll support my nubie army even if we're getting hammered, because that which doesn't 'kill' us only makes us stronger. Even if it looks like you're losing, you can still win, place very high or at least sharpen your skills as long as you DON"T GIVE UP. Winning against the high ranking jumpers is the most fun I've had on multiplayer, even though I get banned for just showing up. I realized how much in common this is with the buddy system. We buddy up to capture points, diamonds, raid bases, but supporting your nubie team creates more opportunity for success. You make ties, you're learning, you're teaching, you build confidence and loyalty within the ranks, essentially helping to create better players to team up with and spar against. As an homage to the high ranking jumper, I created a map called Weight Of The World. Civilization is buried under time and war. The last 'jumper' was 'king of the hill', but was found alone, dead in his prehistoric bone hut. And one last thing I have to ask. Why do people join a player matches and request to cancel a match in progress? Wouldn't it be easier to just leave? Or even better, why don't they host their own matches if they don't like the selection? lifes2sweet, time to break out the sour patch kids....

As for your question about match end requests... i sometimes do that myself when i'm in a host that runs a snipefest. I just want to know if i'm the only one not liking that siht at all. if the outcome is negative i will leave.

I never vote to end unless I know the host and am certain they want it ended. But usually they'll do so themselves. Again, if you don't like the match, you can leave. There's always another match to join. But if there isn't then you should host yourself, it'll fill up fast I guarantee. Some people however, do what is known as lobby fishing. Drop into a bunch of games and vote to end. If it passes, often people leave between matches so they quickly host their own server and invite all the people from the previous matches. They'll be more likely to join a random invite if they're not in a game but are looking for one. This type of behavior is selfish and rude. Usually people with no friends do this. 'Cause it's hard to start a match with less than four people. That's why I almost never host unless my friends are around and want to come along. You guys are cool like that by the way.
